Onychogomphus kitchingmani Pinhey, 1961
Pale Claspertail

Type locality: Mwinilunga, Zambia

Diagnosis

Male belongs to pale species of supinus-group of Onychogomphus by (a) face all pale; (b) black humeral stripe(s) narrower than pale stripes anterior and posterior to it; (c) at least front and mid tibiae pale or black with pale streak. However, (1) currently only known from N Zambia; (2) small, Hw 24-25 mm; (3) S3-7 mostly pale basally and black apically, thus showing pattern of alternate pale and black rings in dorsal view, e.g. black on S3 never connected to basal border; (4) foliations on S8 only about 1/7 as deep as segment is high.
